Cole Chappell, retail sales manager at Chappell Supply, a distributor in Oklahoma City, and his wife, DeAnne, have been together for thirteen years now. They have no children, but five years ago, they became the guardians of two Alaskan Malamutes who would unexpectedly change their lives. Cole admits he is "not a morning person," but you wouldn't guess it from the schedule he keeps a typical day for Cole includes a one-hour workout beginning at 5:30 A.M. He and DeAnne began running for fitness when the frisky Malamutes, Kodiak and Checotah, first joined their family. "We got the dogs and had to run to keep up!" exclaims Cole, and they've been running almost daily ever since.
