Review of the genus Holochlora Stal (Orthoptera, Tettigoniidae, Phaneropterinae) from China

Species of the genus Holochlora Stal, 1873 (type species Holochlora venosa Stal, 1873) from China are reviewed with necessary illustrations. Four species, which are new to science, are described: Holochlora cephalica sp. n., H. allovenosa sp. n., H. minor sp. n., and H. unciformis sp. n.. The females of H. fruhstoferi Carl, 1914 and H. ve-nusta Carl, 1914 and the male of H. lancangensis Liu et al., 1991 are described for the first time. Holochlora semirotunda Xia & Liu, 1990 is synonymized with Holochlora nigrotympana Ingrisch, 1990. Holochlora is identified at species level through the separate keys to male and female of twelve species from China. Distribution map of species of Holochlora from China is provided.
