SAITAMA, Japan - A new high-throughput method called CUBIC allows for rapid whole-brain imaging at single-cell resolution. This could help scientists understand the relationship between cellular phenomena and activity at the organism level - which has been difficult, particularly in clarifying how neural activity translates into consciousness and other complex brain activities.
