Congress to Probe Water Acts, Coal-Bed Methane Practices

Utilities could face new rules if Congress adopts the current energy bill passed by the Senate June 30.The bill includes a provision that would allow Congress to open debate of the Clean Water,Safe Drinking Water and the National Environmental Policy acts.
