摘要

The influence of the high-energy ball milling (HEBM), at the 14 x g centrifugal acceleration, on a series of compositions from the ceramic pseudo-ternary zirconia-yttria-magnesia (ZrO_2-Y_2O_3-MgO) powder system has been studied mainly by the X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. An extensive solid solubility of both yttria and magnesia in zirconia, as well as polymorphic phase transformation of zirconia, zirconia-based solid solutions and yttria are well-established, whereas the structure of magnesia remains almost unaffected.
