OCCURRENCE OF PASTEURIA PENETRANS AND ITS DISTRIBUTION IN MELOIDOGYNE INCOGNITA IN VEGETABLES FROM GOLAGHAT AND JORHAT DISTRICTS OF ASSAM

摘要

A survey programme was undertaken to study the occurrence of Pasteuria penetrans from Golaghat and Jorhat district of Assam during 2004- 2006. The survey work revealed maximum frequency of occurrence (60.00 and 41.17%) in Namdeori area of Jorhat district and Marangi area of Golaghat district respectively. The minimum frequency of occurrence (12.50 and 11.43%) was observed in Nematighat area of Jorhat district and Chungajan area of Golaghat district, respectively.
