A field experiment was carried out at Entomological farm, School of Agricultural Sciences and Rural Development, Medziphema campus, Nagaland University, India during the month of November 2014 to February 2015 to evaluate the efficacy of different insecticides against cabbage aphid, Brevicoryne brassicae on cauliflower. Pre-treatment observations were recorded one day before treatment and post treatment at 3, 5 and 7 days intervals in two sprays schedule. Overall results revealed that after two sprayings schedule, the highest per cent reduction in B. brassicae population was recorded in Imidacloprid 17.8 SL of 65.48%, followed by Neem oil, Citronella oil, Chilli + garlic + ginger, Chlorpyrifos 20 EC, Eucalyptus ash and Costus speciosus showing 62.26%, 55.43%, 49.28%, 48.91%, 46.25% and 44.35%, respectively, while the lowest population was recorded in control with 0.00% reduction. Imidacloprid and Neem oil proved more effective compared with other insecticides in reducing the 5. brassicae population.
