摘要

The pro PO system based immune enhancement pattern due to Vit-C incorporation in Penaeus monodon revealed that this assay can be a reliable tool to test the immune enhancement along with challenge studies. The optimum dosages of Vit-C incorporation in shrimp feed and the frequency of application to sustain immunity in shrimps were also worked out. This study further confirms that continuous incorporation of Vit-C as a dietary source in shrimp is not required.
