Gas-chromatographic determination of organic compounds in water with the use of supercritical fluid extraction

Procedures were developed for the determination of some organic compounds (n-alkanes, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls, CI,P,N-pesticides, phthalic acid esters, chlorophenols, aliphatic acids, and methyl esters of aliphatic acids) in water on the basis of direct supercritical fluid extraction with the subsequent gas-chromatographic analysis of the entire extract without using organic solvents. The detection limits were 10(-11)-10(-7)% depending on the nature of the analyte.
