摘要

An improved version of the determination of arsenic traces by the Gutzeit method was proposed. The determination error was decreased by changing the design of the apparatus and using a computer with a scanner for processing the experimental data. Arsenic in model solutions containing from 0.05 to 0.6 μg As per a sample volume of 2 mL can be determined with a relative standard deviation of no higher than 10%. The detection limit is. 0.01 mg/L (1 * 10~(-7) M, which is equal to 0.3 MPC in water).
