摘要

The gas phase emissions of industrial incineration plants have been lowered significantly during the past years.This reduction was reached mainly by secondary measures like the implementation of improved gas cleaning units.However,large amounts of toxic pollutants are transferred to solid residues,which have to Deposited.For sustainable operation of such incineration plants,the reduction of pollutants with primary measures,which reduce the netto formation of toxic substances during the incineration process is necessary.To investigate the effect of primary measures on the emission characteristic,on-line analysis of emissions can be a helpful tool.The photoelectric aerosol sensor (PAS) is capable of analyzing PAH containing aerosol particles on an real-time basis (Niessner 1986,Burtscher et al.1988).PAH have been identified as one component of memory effects after disturbed combustion (Zimmermann 2001)
