Pulse energizations and moving electrodes have been used as means of improving dust particle collection of high resistivity dust particles in a wire-plate electrostatic precipitators (ESP).However,the optimization of pulse energized or hybrid ESP with moving electrode are not well established for various resistivity dusts,since no comprehensive modelling code and well-characterized experiments for wire-plate ESP exist at this time [1,2].In this work,a two-dimensional model (MESP Code [3])that includes:the corona electrode geometry,the dust resistivity and temperature effects,Poisson's electric field,ion,neutral and charged dust density was developed,as well as the diffusion and field charging of (10"3 to 102 urn)dust particles was used to analyse a large scale moving electrode wire-plate electrostatic precipitators for wide range of dust resistivities (109 to 10l4Qm)and compared with experimental results.
