The aim of this work was to carry out quantitative estimate of a flow of trace elements (Cd,Sn,Hg,Pb,Cu,Zn,Fe,Mn) in an evapotranspiration excretion of aquatic and terrestrial plants growing in collection ponds of metal mining industry.In previous publications (Khozhina,200la;Hozhina,200Ib) it was shown that such trace elements are passing into the atmosphere as a part of evapotranspiration excretion of either plants.Note,that since the discovery of the phenomena of transport of trace elements into the atmosphere via transpiration (Dobrovolskiy,1988),quantitative data of evapotranspiration flow of trace elements in a biogeochemical migration are still not determined.The study was carried out in a collection pond of the Dyukov ravine,which stores wastes of cyanidation of complex barite ores of the Salair ore-refining plant,Russia.Aquatic plants growing in a submerged part of the collection pond were studied by the example of the fluvial horsetail (Equi-setum fluviatile L.);terrestrial plants growing in a dry part of the collection pond were studied by the example of the spring wheat cv.Novosibirskaya 67 (Trhicum Aestivum L.).
