摘要

Indoor particle concentrations are health relevant because people spend considerable time in buildings.Estimating ultrafine,PM2.5 and coarse particle concentration probability distributions for various climates,urban and rural conditions,house types,personal ventilation and smoking habits was one of the objectives of the European project "URBAN AEROSOL";in the following,the basic assumptions of a simple mass balance model and some of the results are discussed The model was checked against experimental results and implemented as an interactive Mathematica notebook with a simple user interface and its use will be demonstrated.
