Double Brood Beekeeping

The double brood chamber system uses two brood chambers, each with two dummy boards, and is overwintered with eight frames in each chamber, but extra frames are added as needed in the summer. The two chambers can be separated by supers during summer to discourage swarming, and to raise new queens.
