A 45-YEAR-OLD WOMAN WITH NO SIGNIFI-cant medical history was referred for evaluation for episodic vertigo. She began to experience episodes of vertigo, fluctuating right-sided hearing loss, tinnitus, aural fullness, nausea, and vomiting starting in March 2011. Since that time she experienced multiple recurrences of these episodes, each lasting from several seconds to several hours before spontaneously resolving. She had a severe attack in July 2011, after which her hearing loss persisted despite resolution of her other symptoms, and it was for this that she sought evaluation.
