Electrically conductive plastic with nanotubes

With Bosch, BASF developed a plastic containing carbon nanotubes (CNTs). The Ultraform N2320 C material is a polyoxymethylene (POM) which, due to the innovative additives, is provided with a high electrical conductivity without any noticeable decrease in the toughness. At Bosch, the material was used in series production in a fuel filter housing for the Audi A4 and A5.
