Panacol is offering a new adhesive from the Vitralit-UV-4050 series: "Vitralit UV 4050 MV" is of medium viscosity and is suitable for gluing plastics, especially for medical applications. The transparent adhesive has a medium viscosity of from 450 to 650 mPas and has good flexibility together with high strength when hardened. In addition, it exhibits a very low shrinkage rate of just 2% and adheres to many plastics, primarily to PVC, ABS, SAN and PC, in addition to stainless steel and glass. If at least one of the materials to be joined is transparent, then good adhesion can be achieved in just a few seconds with "Vitralit UV 4050 MV: by hardening through the use of UV or visible light.
