Fraunhofer PYCO was integrated into Fraunhofer IAP

Fraunhofer's previous establishment for polymeric materials and composites called "Pyco" was integrated into the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research (IAP) in Potsdam-Golm on January 1,2016 as a research division with 36 employees. The main research subjects and the "Pyco" brand will be retained and will be refined and extended under the new roof. At the Teltow and Wildau sites, highly cross-linked polymers, so-called thermosets, are developed for applications in a large number of sectors, including aviation, rail vehicle construction, automotive, information and communica- tions technology or appliance engineering.
