On April 24,2013, a seminar on the subject of" Plastics welding processes - Fundamentals and new process developments for the joining of plastics" will take place in the House of Technology (Haus der Technik), Essen. The event is intended to illustrate the possibilities of plastics welding technology and to classify the different welding processes with regard to their economic and process technology potentials and limits. Frequently arising defects during the welding of plastics and the possible solutions to them will be discussed as well.
