Compact ultrasonic feed units (VE) with low weights are suitable for the quick and low-energy joining of plastic parts in robot applications. The preclamping of the pneumatic cylinders saves additional time - up to one second per weld spot. That becomes noticeable, above all, in applications with a lot of weld spots.
