A new non-combustible composite for decorative facades

摘要

This panel was designed to resist exterior weathering conditions and high mechanical strains, and thus can be used in the cladding ofhigh-rise buildings as well as in facades of buildings with grade A requirements. The development of a non-combustible composite is a multidisciplinary project mat requires expertise in the fields of material science, laminate production and surface technology. Integration of the required know-how was successfully tackled via a cooperation between two industry partners and the Kompetenzzentrum Holz as the scientific partner.
