In the last few years, the market for alcohol-free beverageswascharacterized by a rising demand for multifunctional beverages, brand new tastes and drinks with a so-called "added value". Therefore the beverage manufacturers were exposed to new challenges. Next to adequate distribution- and marketing strategies, new production technologies are required to push the new products. Older production systems only partly fulfill the new requirements. An investment in up-to-date and modern process technologyis often necessary and the expectations in the production systems are accordingly high: A compact and space saving design, highest precision, a reliable operation, lowest production losses as possible and the absolute ability for fast product changes.
