Sumitomo Metals Starts New Bright Annealing Furnace

Sumitomo Metal Industries started operation of a new bright annealing furnace at cold rolled pipe plant in Wakayama works in the month. The furnace is to prevent the products from high temperature oxidation and decarbonization and to keep surface brightness. The firm tries to meet strong demand for high-grade boiler tube from Chinese power generation projects.
