JFE Steel Develops Steel Plate with 960MPa of Yield Strength

JFE Steel announced on Tuesday it developed high tensile steel plate with more than 960 mega pascal (MPa) of yield strength for construction machinery by using the original Heat-treatment Online Process (HOP). The plate has more than 980 MPa of tensile strength. The firm tries to expand the sales of plate products with HOP treatment with the new products with higher strength for machinery.
