Hitachi Cable (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. Increases Investment to 2 Billion yen

Hitachi Cable is planning to raise by 700 million yen within this year the capital of Hitachi Cable (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., which is 100 percent subsidiary of the firm in China, from the current 1.3 billion yen. Furthermore, increasing the facilities after 2005, Hitachi Cable will increase the sales of coaxial cable for laptop computer with built-in radio local area network (LAN) and medical care. The sales are currently about 70 million yen. The firm aims at sales of 300-million-yen-scale in future.
