Non-ferrous Metals Users to Cut Materials Purchase Prices

Confronted with worsening business results, rolled copper products makers and other non-ferrous metals users seem to have decided to cut their material purchase prices effective fiscal 2002 beginning April. Most of the suppliers are reportedly made aware of their decisions to reduce the prices by two to here yen/kg even in case there are no changes in indexes.
