NKK Fukuyama works will reinforce operations after steel making process so that it can produce 10 million tons of steel per annum stably without putting load on a particular stage of the total process.The company has started to spend money on the project in 1999 and will be making a total outlay of ￥22 billion by the end of business year 2001 to improve overall process, increasing rated capacity of both steelmaking and rolling facilities to 11 million tpy.
