ACA Responds to OSHA on Respirable Crystalline Silica Proposed Rule

in response to the U.S. Occupational Health and Safety Administration's (OSHA) notice of proposed rulemaking for Occupational Exposure to Respirable Crystalline Silica, ACA submitted comments to OSHA on February 11, 2014. OSHA originally published this proposed rule on September 12,2013, and had extended the deadline twice to allow stakeholders more time to comment, as well as in response to technical issues on their website for comment submission. At press time, public hearings on this proposed rule were scheduled to be held on March 18. To date, OSHA has received over 2,800 comments from the public regarding its proposed rule.
