ACA Offers Framework for Alternative Proposals to CARB-Proposed Amendments to Aerosol Coatings and Consumer Products Regulations

On February 26, California's Air Resources Board (CARB) held a public workshop on its proposed amendments to its Aerosol Coatings and Consumer Products Regulations. CARB staff discussed proposals to amend the Aerosol Coatings Regulation, including lower reactivity limits, new or modified definitions, and other provisions to improve enforcement, as well as proposed modifications to the Consumer Products Regulation pertaining to aerosol adhe- sives, multi-purpose solvents, and paint thinner products. Also discussed were proposed definitional modifications for various categories.
