Participants Sought for Wood Swellometer Round Robin

An ASTM Task Group is soliciting participants for a round robin test to evaluate ASTM standard D 4446,"Test Method for Anti-Swelling Effectiveness of Water-Repellent Formulations and Differential Swelling of Untreated Wood When Exposed to Liquid Water Environments." The test is commonly referred to as the wood swellometer test and is used by manufacturers of water repellent coatings for wood.All materials and equipment needed to participate will be provided to the volunteers.
