There has been much discussion in the news recently about scientific fraud and the publication of fabricated data.Attention has focused most recently on the retraction of two papers in the journal Science dealing with work on the cloning of human cells by the South Korean researcher,Dr.Hwang Woo Suk.There have been other high-profile cases recently,involving studies of the painkillers Vioxx and Celebrex.
