A new performance additive has been introduced by Cabot Corporation. CAB-O-SIL~R ULTRABOND~(TM) 5760 fumed silica is formulated to help the transportation industry achieve more aggressive weight-reduction goals and improve fuel efficiency. Designed to maximize adhesive performance, particularly in epoxy formulations, this surface treated fumed silica can be used in the automotive, aerospace, construction, electronics, and flooring industries, among others.
