Evonik has announced the opening of a new research and development center for paint and coating additives to service the Asian markets. Named the "Tego Innovation Center," the center will open with two locations—in Singapore and Shanghai. The Center will cater to manufacturers in the paint and coatings industry in India and Asia. Research conducted there will be geared to meeting regional demands, focusing on the development of environmentally-friendly coating systems.
