Biocides: Critical Components of Marine Coatings

While the use of foul-release coatings is receiving growing attention, these coatings still account for only a small percentage of the systems used to protect commercial marine vessels. Biocides, therefore, remain critical for preventing both the fouling of ship hulls and the transmigration of marine organisms from one area to another.
