Membership—J. Daugherty, Chair, led the group in a discussion of the difficulties in attracting members to the subcommittee. The most current membership list was emailed to all subcommittee members. We still believe that it would be beneficial to have a representative from a printer and again asked members to mention this to their printer customers. It was noted that a number of names should be removed from the membership list because the individuals have left the industry. Lightfastness of Printed Matter—J. Fetsko, Chair, discussed D 3424, "Methods for Evaluating the Relative Lightfastness and Weatherability of Printed Matter" (WK 15660), which was due for renewal last fall. The ballot of the current version received three negatives. W. Ketola volunteered to rewrite the method and handed out a revised version, which was reviewed in detail.
