Pictorial Standards—N. Rogers, Chair, led a discussion on the status of the updating of the FSCT (Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology) handbook of "Pictorial Standards of Coatings Defects." There is a desire to republish this handbook with new pictures and descriptions illustrating types of failures and failure ratings. S. Pruskowski and J. Stegge of the FSCT Publications Committee would appreciate input regarding failures that should be included along with sources for sets of panels or photographs. So far, the following failures or problems are to be included: blistering, chalking, checking, erosion, rust, filiform corrosion, flaking, mildew, print, adhesion, roller splatter, cracking, chipping (traffic), and abrasion (traffic).
