Air Products to Sell Its VAE Polymers Interest to Wacker

Air Products,Allentown,PA,has signed a definitive agreement to sell its interest in its vinyl acetate ethylene(VAE)polymers joint venture partnership to Wacker Chemie AG,its longtime VAE joint venture partner.Wacker Chemie AG will take ownership of the global VAE polymers operations including production facilities in Calvert City,KY;South Brunswick,NJ;Cologne,Germany;and Ulsan,Korea;and commercial and research capabilities in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley and Burghausen,Germany.
