USM and SSCT Continue Long-Time Partnership;Society Plans Annual Technical Conference

摘要

The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) and the Southern Society for Coatings Technology (SSCT) have had a strong relationship that has extended for over 25 years,encompassing a wide variety of important educational endeavors.Currently,the SSCT co-sponsors the Technology Showcase at the Annual Waterborne,Higher-Solids,and Powder Coatings Symposium in New Orleans;the Polymer Science Invited Seminar Series;and an endowment supporting the Yearly Best Undergraduate Coatings Student Award at USM.Additionally,for over a decade,USM has enjoyed the SSCT Distinguished Professorship in Polymer Science which has been instrumental in continuing to advance coatings research in the United States.
