Sartomer Opens First Chinese Facility

Sartomer Company,Exton,PA,has opened a new manufacturing plant in Nansha,Guangzhou province,China.The facility will manufacture specialty acrylate monomers and oligomers used as raw materials in products such as paints,inks,coatings,adhesives,circuit boards,flooring,CDs,and DVDs.Sartomer will sell the materials manufactured at this new plant in Asia,Europe,and the U.S."The Nansha project is Sar-tomer's first major investment in China," says Luigi Colantuoni,president of Sartomer.The entire facility models Sartomer's plant in Chatham,VA.The new plant includes lab space and offices.It will employ about 100 people when fully staffed.
