The recovery in global jet fuel demand picked up momentum as 2010 drew to a close. Usage in a group of representative countries climbed by 4.7% in November, doubling the rate of growth seen in the third quarter. Expansion in emerging markets averaged nearly 12% in November, with Brazil and South Korea leading with gains. Indian liftings rose by 7%, while the bankruptcy of Mexicana continued to weigh down Mexican demand.
