SkyNRG and Statoil Set Up Nordic Supply Chain for Biojet

The goal of Dutch firm SkyNRG to establish supply chains for aviation biofuels across the world has broken new ground in the Nordic countries, where a small airport in Sweden now has the first permanent tank facility to supply sustainable jet fuel. The cooperation with Statoil Aviation set up earlier this year known as SkyNRG Nordic announced last week that Karlstad Airport would become its first BioPort in the region, modeled after similar ventures in Holland and Australia (JFI Nov.18’13).
