Global jet fuel demand stayed robust through late summer, with liftings in a group of representative countries climbing to 3.6 million b/d - some 5.4% above year-earlier rates. All of the growth came from industrialized nations, where consumption jumped by 6% on strong air traffic flows. The US led the volume gain with a 6% rise, followed by Europe with a strong 14% jump due to 14% advances in Germany, France and Italy.
