The start-up of the first of three new condensate processing plants that are likely to significantly worsen the region’s structural oversupply of jet fuel this year has been slightly delayed (JFI May5’14). Singapore’s new 110,000 b/d Jurong Aromatics Corp. splitter is now due to come on line in July or August instead of the earlier May target as start-up engineering issues are worked out.
