Potential buyers are scrambling for information on the UK’s hugely complicated jet fuel supply network ahead of the potential sale of the government pipeline and storage system (GPSS) in the next few months. A consultant advising an unnamed “financial buyer” on the sale tells Jet Fuel Intelligence that the initial bid process could be launched as early as next month. In January UK investment bank and financial advisors Rothschild, who are handling the sale for the UK Ministry of Defense, put out “a teaser” to gauge market interest.
