European Snapshot: Demand Growth Absorbs More Supply

European jet fuel production and imports in June fell below year-ago rates, setting the stage for a downturn in regional stock levels just as the peak summer travel season got underway. Inventories retreated to 7.3 million tons or some 4.5% below the the year-earlier mark, as deficits in the UK and Spain offset the ample supply cushion in Germany. Stocks in smaller European countries were also below seasonal norms.
