The map of global oil and gas flows could be redrawn if Europe goes ahead with plans to diversify its sources of energy away from Russia in the wake of the Ukraine crisis. The plan was discussed at this week’s EU-US summit where US President Barack Obama promised shipments of LNG to Europe, which currently relies heavily on Russia for gas, crude and clean diesel but not jet fuel (related).
