European Snapshot: Higher Supply Feeds Demand Growth

Strong import flows and high regional production kept Europe awash in jet fuel during July. Cargoes steamed into the region from the Middle East and Asia at a record clip of 3.44 million tons as Saudi Arabia increased its market share with output from the new joint venture refinery at Jubail it shares with French Total. Refinery runs topped 47 million tons and boosted middle distillate yields to nearly 30%, with jet fuel output reaching 6.5 million tons.
