Intravitreal bevacizumab injection for peripheral exudative hemorrhagic chorioretinopathy.

Peripheral exudative hemorrhagic chorioretinopathy (PEHCR) is an uncommon peripheral retinal degenerative process that affects elderly Caucasians and is frequently associated with macular degenerative changes due to age [1]. Here we describe a case of dramatic clinical improvement after a single intravitreal bevacizumab injection in symptomatic PEHCR with serous retinal detachment (SRD) involving the fovea.
