The Furukawa Electric Co.is accelerating efforts to develop new applications for its highly reflective foamed polyethylene terephthalate sheet with a microcellular structure,brand-named MCPET.The sheet is currently used in products ranging from illuminated signboards and illumination equipment to a reflective sheet for backlighting for liquid crystal displays.
